It’s been a busy old few weeks at Digitall HQ – gig bookings are picking up, radio plans are constantly expanding, a mash-up has gone global and the festival season is almost upon us. Oh, and We’ve launched a new indie night in Penzance! Phew!
I’m going to be busy playing out and about over the next few weeks; I’ll be returning to Toast in Falmouth, and making my debut appearances at Mango Tango in Falmouth (TBC) and Sound in Penzance. All of these are great venues – I had a great time at Toast at Easter – and Sound has/is hosting some top class DJ talent so it will be fantastic to occupy the same booth as Krafty Kuts, A-Skillz, Utah Saints, Judge Jules and more. The gig guide is back online – click on the link at the top of the page.
My monthly dance mix show on Falmouth’s SourceFM Radio is now an established part of the Saturday schedule. This month’s show was a blast – listen to the mix at www.soundcloud.com/digitall-source until the end of the month. Meanwhile Penwith Radio is assembling an application for an FM Licence, and my PM Show will feature interviews with Utah Saints and (TBC) A-Skillz in the next few weeks. I have a third radio show due to launch, but it has been scuppered a little by my broken hand (don’t ask) so iwill tell you about that next time.
Razzmatazz, our new monthly indie music night kicked off to a great reaction in April, with Hedluv & Passman raising the energy levels. The second night, last week, featured Gregor and the Martians and was another great night. The Next Razzmatazz night is Friday 17th June, with Cubs providing the live entertainment. With the festival season nearly upon us, I hope to be able to announce some appearances soon. I’m in the thick of planning for Lafrowda at the moment which means some other projects, including guest contributor on a top music blog and new logo design, are on hold for a while.
I’m worn out just writing about all this activity, so I’m going to go and lie down in a darkened room for a few mins! More news soon – see you on a dancefloor near you soon.
